Exhaust Manifold

A component that collects exhaust gases from cylinders and directs them to the exhaust pipe.

The exhaust manifold channels high-temperature gases from the engine's cylinders to the catalytic converter. Made from cast iron or stainless steel, it must withstand extreme heat cycles. Cracks or gasket leaks produce ticking sounds and can lead to poor emissions. Replacing damaged manifolds restores performance and reduces exhaust noise. Thermal insulation or ceramic coatings enhance durability and efficiency. Proper sealing prevents oxygen leaks that can confuse O? sensors and affect fuel mixture.
